History of Turkey

Turkey is a place of magnificent beauty. The History of Turkey reminds us of many important events. The Republic of Turkey was founded on 29th October in the year 1923 and with this foundation the History of Turkey of modern period begun.

From History of Turkey we can know that 7500 B.C. was the period of first Stone Age settlements.1900-1300 BC was the period of Hittite Empire. History of Turkey makes us know that the Trojan War took place on 1250 BC. The fall of Troy also happened in this period.
