Sports in Madagascar is a recreation as well as an important aspect of the country's culture. The Malagasy sportspeople have shown their enthusiasm and skills in a number of games and sports like football, cycling, tennis, boxing, swimming, basketball, etc. Among the Malagasy sportspeople are the women who have made a place for themselves in the world of sports in Madagascar through their expertise.
Till the present times Madagascar has been home to a number of nationally and regionally renowned sportspeople that include sportsmen and sportswomen. Besides participating in national championships and regional matches the sportspeople of Madagascar also have played and showed their skills in several international sports events. One of them is the Olympic games in which Madagascar sportspeople have been participation from 1964.

Mathieu Razanakolona represented the country in the 2006 winter Olympics as a participant in the alpine skiing event.
