The upper band is white, the middle one is tinged with blue and the underside strip is red.In the top left angle of the Slovenian flag, centralized amid the blue and white strip, is the Slovenian coat of arms which integrates the Triglav Mountain along with its three tips.
The three yellow stars on the coat of arms correspond to Slovenian freedom and were acquired from the arms of the earlier 15 th century Slovenian dukedom of Celje.

The curvy blue lines of the mountain stands for flow of river. The colors of the flag suggest Slavonic harmony and freedom and can be found in the most Slavic flags.
