Brazil Coffee

Brazil Coffee has earned the highest popular accolades due to its supreme quality, aroma and flavor. The domestic sale and extensive global export of Brazilian Coffee offers enormous financial support to the national economy.

Brazil Coffee has a long history. Its cultivation was first introduced on the Brazilian mainland in 1772 with coffee beans imported from Cayenne in French Guiana. Starting from that point of time till date, the country has become the world's largest coffee producing region, lately concentrating on the development of coffee industry. Paraná, Mundo, Caturra and Bourbon are the principal coffee cultivating states of Brazil. Mention may also be made about the states of São Paulo, Bahia, Paraná, Espirito Santos and Minas Gerais, specializing in the cultivation of the well-known Nova variety of Brazil Coffee.

Brazil Coffee beans demand special geographical and climatic condition to thrive well and offer maximum yields. High altitude and gradient slopes of mountains facilitate extensive coffee farming. Coffee production requires abundant rainfall which is common on high elevations. A cloudy and relatively chilly surrounding, devoid of direct sunshine protects the seedlings in the nascent stages. Finally, the rich soil on the steep upland slopes do not permit rainwater to collect at the roots of the coffee plants, helping the Brazilian Coffee beans to prosper properly.

Processing of Brazilian Coffee beans requires a series of processes involving wet washing, semi-cleaning and natural dry washing. Majority of these coffee beans are still processed, following the dry washing method. Unique combinations of dry and wet Brazilian weather help in the flowering and maturation of the cherries evenly. This facilitates both mechanical harvests of the coffee beans as well as gathering through strip picking process.

Brazil Coffee is not meant for mere blending. The pre-blended beans can be roasted to derive considerable taste from them. Once roasted, they can be made into smoother, stronger and richer espresso mixtures, yielding more taste. The diverse application of this coffee has earned it highest fame and accreditations both on national and international levels.
