Ibadan is a city, which lies in the south western part of Nigeria. It is the capital of the state of Oyo. This city is located in a hilly area, which is covered by forests. Ibadan is an important center for trade. The population of Ibadan is 2,550,593 (Census 2006). Ibadan ranks third in terms of population in the whole country.
