Some of the hotels and restaurants in Mali even accept Visa and credit cards.
Some of the hotels in Bamako accept Diners Club, Visa and Master Cards. The travelers can exchange checks at banks. The travelers may carry US dollar and Euro checks to avoid hassles. Mali forbids the export and import of local currency. Foreign currency however, can be exported or imported to a limit of CFA fr25, 000.
