Iceland is rapidly becoming a major
tourist destination for people around the World. Its popularity as a
tourist attraction stems from the fact that it has diverse and interesting natural features, including glaciers, active volcanoes, fjords, geysers, hot springs, lava fields and lava deserts.

Iceland. There are also bird sanctuaries, waterfalls, hot pools for bathing and whale watching centers.
The south-east houses the largest glacier in the country – Vatnajökull, and has lots of sporting activity.
