Even in the private schools in Finland the intake of tuition fees is strictly barred. The students of secondary education enjoy many social entitlements. They are given free lunch daily and health care. The International School of Helsinki has the aim to provide excellence in the process of education. It is an IB World School and offers International Baccalaureate programs to those students falling in the age group of 4 starting from the first grade to 12th grade. It is a co-educational school which was founded in the year 1963 as an elementary school mainly for the British students. At present it has students from different countries speaking various languages.
