The
Ugandan government has president as head of the state and also of the government. The country follows the structure of presidential republic kinds of government. The
government of Uganda tries to follow the corner stone of its constitution which is
'of the people, for the people and by the people'. The government of this African country is in operation since 9th October, 1962, that is on the very day it got its independence. There are mainly three most significant parts of the Uganda government which are executive, judiciary and legislative. President and the Cabinet under him are the executive heads of the country and the parliament is endowed with the legislative powers. With the president there is also the presence of the office of Vice president in Uganda. There are a number of
ministries in Uganda which further makes the operation of its government smooth and effective. It has to be mentioned that Uganda like most of the African countries has suffered from many unstable governments which was negative for the country in many ways.
