Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange known as TTSE is one of the major stock exchanges in the entire Caribbean region. The stock exchange bureau of Trinidad and Tobago is under the control of the exchange commission of Trinidad and Tobago. There are 11 members who control the stock exchange organization of Trinidad and Tobago. The economy of Trinidad and Tobago is rising due to the increased amounts of investments upon shares by the people of Trinidad . The stock market of Trinidad and Tobago is enabling well known companies to issue bonds and stocks in order to raise their capital. Trinidad and Tobago's stock exchange sees to the prosperity of the various companies established within this island. Their financial conditions are largely managed by the stock exchange bureau of Trinidad and Tobago. The different companies that are prospering in Trinidad and Tobago are Barbados shipping and trading company, guardian holdings limited, ANSA McAL limited, Trinidad cement company and Readymix west Indies company. The modern system of trading bonds and shares on a continued basis have enabled brokers to carry on with their business from their current office itself in stead of having to be present on the stock market floors where the exchange of stocks are carried out.
