Constitution of Taiwan



Taiwan Constitution is more-or-less a written document that comprises of fundamental laws and principles generally followed by the government bodies. This Taiwan Constitution gives a
comprehensive political overview of the whole country.

Taiwan Constitution includes several articles, rights and duties that a citizen must perform. In true sense, the constitution of Taiwan protects the rights of the people, ensure social equality, and promote the welfare of the people so it is the duty of all Taiwan people to respect and obey their constitution.

There are mainly 14 chapters in the Taiwan Constitution. Each chapter, on the other hand has several articles incorporated in them. General provisions are been included under the Chapter1 section whereas Chater2 deals with the Rights and Duties of the citizens of Taiwan. A brief detail of other chapters have been given below

There are around 175 articles inside the Taiwan Constitution. Article 1 states that Republic of China, had been established on the Three Principles of the People, that is a democratic republic of the People, by the people, and for the people. Whereas Article 2 deals with the matter that sovereignty of the Republic of China shall reside in the whole body of citizens.
