Somalia War




The Somalia wars since decades have left the country starved and economically crippled. This horn country on the east coast of Africa is one of the poorest and most underdeveloped countries in the world.
The government in Somalia is unstable, rather an officially unrecognized body. Though voting systems exist, they are hardly of any importance because civil war of Somalia has uprooted all possibilities of development and peace. The relatively undisturbed region in Somalia includes the northern frontiers.

The Republic of Somaliland was formed after much bloodshed and revolt on the first of July 1960. The British Somaliland and the Italy occupied Somaliland after independence came together to for what is called the republic of Somaliland. Somaliland is not entire Somalia. The French Somaliland evolved to the modern Djibouti.

In the Republic of Somaliland, peace is extremely volatile as the administration is intervene by Islamic clans and other other militant groups that are least interested in the larger good of the somalis inhabiting the region. Kidnappings, murders, bombings, civil strifes, armed attacks are common and can be considered the single major reason behind the plight of the nation.
