Buraydah



Buraydah is an important city in the Al Gassim region of Saudi Arabia. Buraydah at Saudi Arabia hosts the headquarters of the Local Council and Governor. It houses branches of various college, university and departments of government.

Though Buraydah in Saudi Arabia is known for its agricultural products, it also houses factories of water heaters, clothes, food products, etc. The city hosts the largest factory of pharmaceuticals in the Middle East region. Apart from these, Buraydah also houses one of the biggest fishing farms where 1000 tones of fish are packed every morning.

Buraydah of Saudi Arabia is rightly known as “the vegetable basket of Saudi Arabia” because of the vast amount of agricultural output that it produces. The output is so huge in numbers that farmers even export their products to other Arabian cities.

Another striking feature of Buraydah city is its camel market. This market is the biggest camel market in the whole world.

Tourist Attractions in Buraydah

Parks and sports complexes are the three main attractions for visitors to Buraydah in Saudi Arabia. The public parks of the Arab city cover an area of 49000 square kilometers. These parks include everything from swimming pools, waterfalls, and playgrounds to resting areas and fountains.

Another must visit place at Buraydah is the Prince Abdullah Sports Complex which covers an area of 160000 square kilometers of land.
