North Korea War has a great impact on world's history. It brought a significant change in the political scenario of North Korea and South Korea. North Korea War is popularly known as Korean war. It broke out as a civil war. The North Korea War was fought from 1950-1953 on the Korean peninsula. On 25th June, 1950 when North Korea attacked South Korea this civil war begun. With the course of time the war started expanding when the United Nations, conduced by the United States, and later China entered the battle.
The People's Republic of China supported the North Korea. Along with it, North Korea also got assistance from Soviet combat advisors, military pilots, and weapons. On the other hand, South Korea had been supported by United Nations forces, the United States. Apart from this some other nations also contributed personnel. During the first part of the North Korea War, North and South Korea existed as provisional governments competing for getting the control over the Korean peninsula after the Division of Korea by the United States and the Soviet Union.
On 25 th June, 1950 the North Korea War broke out when the North Korean Army struck crossing the 38th parallel behind a firestorm of artillery.
It was fully equipped with 242 tanks from which 150 were Soviet-made T-34 tanks, the North Korean military started the war with about 180 aircraft, including 70 attack bombers and 40 YAK fighters. Hundreds and thousands of Korean civilians trying to escape to the south were being forced to hand-carry supplies, from them many Korean died in later-American air attacks.
With around 135,000 troops North Korea attack the South and acquired surprise and quick successes. The North Korea War affected several places including Chuncheon, Uijeongbu, Kaes?ng and Ongjin. Finally when a cease-fire reached on 27th July, 1953 North Korea War come to an end.
