Korea Stock Exchange

In Korea, the traditional stock market division of Korea Exchange is known as Korea Stock Exchange. Under the Korea Stock & Futures Exchange Act the Korea Stock Exchange, KOSDAQ and Korea Futures Exchange were merged together to form the Korea Exchange.

Korea Stock Exchange is a member of the World Exchange Federation. In terms of market capitalization, Korea Stock Exchange has been ranked 15th in the year 2005. In the terms of trading value Korea Stock has been ranked 9th. In the whole world, in terms of transactional volume Korea Exchange has the largest derivatives exchange.
