Egypt Government


Egypt Government is an important organization that functions to maintain democracy in the country. Cairo, the capital city is located in the northern part of Egypt. Egypt is also known as the Arab Republic of Egypt. The national flag of Egypt has three colors of red, white and black.

The Prime Minister of Egypt is Dr. Ahmed Nazif. He has undertaken various economic reforms for the country. Nazif was appointed as the Prime Minister of Egypt by President of the country, Hosny Mubarak.

Egypt is divided into 27 governorates. These divisions are also known as muhafazat. Parliament of Egypt is bicameral. The 2 houses are known as Upper Consultative Council and Lower People's Assembly. Parliament is an integral part of the Government of Egypt.

Egypt Government is very much dependent on the political system of the country. The candidates from the political parties contest for election in the country. Embassies of many countries of the world have been established in Egypt. These diplomatic organizations help in maintaining cordial foreign relations.

The law of the country as stated in the constitution of country is interpreted and implemented under the judicial system of Egypt. Judicial duties are divided under several courts. Human rights are taken care of for better social lives of the people. Air force of Egypt is a strong defensive body of the country.
