Languages : Punjabi- 48% (Spoken mostly by people of Punjab and in Karachi )
Sindhi- 12% (Spoken mostly by people of Sindh)
Siraiki- 10% (Southern Districts of Punjab )
Pashtun- 8% (Spoken mostly by people of North West Frontier Province and Balochistan)
Urdu – 8%
Balochi- 3% ( Baluchistan and in parts of Sindh)
Hindko- 2%
Brahui- 1%
Burushashki and others- 8%

Geographic Distribution : The majority of the population of Pakistan lives along the fertile region of the Indus. In the Northern parts the Population is mainly concentrated in the cities of Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, Sialkot, Peshawar, and Gujranwala.

Though there is a decrease in the net growth rate but the population is expected to reach the 175 million mark within the next decade.
