Djibouti time zone says that the standard time of Djibouti is three hours ahead of GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). Daylight-Saving Time is not observed in Djibouti.

During the winter months, particularly during December, sunrise in Djibouti takes place at around 6:13 am approximately in the first part, and tentatively about 6:21 am in the latter part of the month. On the other hand, sunset in Djibouti takes place at about 5:46 pm during the first part of December. In the second half of December the sun sets at about 5:48 pm. The length of the day during this time extends to about an approximate duration of 11 hours or so.

During the mid time of the year, i.e. in June, the sun rises at about 5:43 am and sets at around 6:35 pm. The length of the day during this time of the year becomes approximately 12 hours.

Daylight Djibouti time is maximum during the summer months.
