Pakistan Language


Urdu is the official Language in Pakistan, though the elite in Pakistan speak the English language more than the official language. The usage of Urdu is prevalent in Pakistan since the birth of the country. Needless to say, it is the most important language of Pakistan. Pakistan Literature is rich in Urdu language. Urdu language is considered to be the sweetest language. Instead of the Devanagari alphabet, which is used in the Hindi language, Arabic alphabets are used.

Apart from the Urdu and English languages in Pakistan, there are other languages like Sindhi, Hindko, Balti and Punjabi that the people of Pakistan speak. In the country, two classical languages are still being taught that are Arabic and Persian. Pakistani language or the Urdu language is among the most pure languages of the world. Some of the words in Urdu have been influenced by two other languages that are Persian and Arabic. The people in Pakistan are proud of their rich language that speaks of their culture and rich traditions. The Language in Pakistan is an ancient language whose roots trace back to 2500 BC.

English is also widely used in Pakistan. Some the major newspapers in the country have circulation in Urdu as well as in English languages like AL Qamar and AraienWorld. Some of the other languages spoken in Pakistan are Brahui, Balochi, Khawar, Burushaki and Pashtu.
