The flour mills manufacture both traditional bread and pasta. The more innovative products are destined for the export market. The milk industry is composed of milk co-operatives based in different milk producing centers scattered all over the country. The textile and leather industries manufacture products for the export market. The silver ingot industry also employs a large number of persons in Morocco.
