Demographics of Kenya are very diverse as the country comprises of population who belongs to a number of ethnic groups. The diversity is not only in the ethnic descent but also religious. Though Kenya has a number of big cities like Nairobi and Mombasa about seventy percent of the populations are rural dwellers engaged in farming. The names of the tribes of Kenya to which most of people belong are Kikuyu, Kamba, Luo, Meru, and Luhya. The sex ratio of Kenya does not have a great disparity. The life expectancy of the Kenyan people are comparatively less than the developed western countries, it is in and around 55 years.
