This region hardly has any rain,whereas the south is fortunate to experience as many as 2 rainy seasons. The 1st is from March to July, that is till the first part and the 2nd rainy season extends from the months of September to October. The situation is a little different in the northern mountainous areas of Togo, when the wettest season lasts from April to August.

During the month of July the Togo weather, specially in Lome remains cloudy, quite windy with an average temperature of 24° C and relative humidity of 100 %.
