Granada in Spain is the capital of Granada province. This historical Spanish city is located at the foot of the mountain Sierra Nevada. It is an artistic and

cultural city of Spain. It is infact one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Spain. Apart from being an interesting scenic spot it is also known as an educational centre. University of Granada is probably the most prestigious centre of education within Spain.

During winters bands are seen to be playing in the bars. Though entrance fees are not charged during this time but the price of drinks get pulled up.

While talking about Granada, we should mention the name of the famous Granadino personality, Federico Garcia Lorca. He was one of the best writers of Spain.
