Covasna is a city in Romania. It is a town located at Covasna County in the province of Transylvania. The city is famous as a source for quality mineral water in the region.
Covasna is known throughout Romania as a premium spa location. It is also well known as a health resort. Covasna in Romania is made up of two distinct parts. The two parts are Covasna and Voinesti. The Covasna brook demarcates the city in an east-north direction. The city administration has incorporated one village in the administrative structure of the city. The name of the village is Chiurus. Covasna is situated at an altitude of approximately 600 meters above sea level. The settlement has a population of approximately 12,000 inhabitants.

Covasna is famous for the therapeutic qualities of its mineral water. The small city is situated on the southern corner of the upper-Haromszek Basin. The border of the settlement extends from Feketeugz to Lakoca. The thick coniferous forests encircling the area have made the place ideal for relaxation from the stress and grime of everyday life. The excellent quality of mineral water is the result of the presence of rich minerals in the sub soil region in the place. Covasna at Romania also offers the visitor an option for a great walk through the ethereal scenery of the place.
