News media and entertainment media make up
Uganda media. There are a number of newspapers in Uganda along with television channels and radio channels. Uganda media therefore is a combinations of both print and electronic media.

media of Uganda consists of the newspapers, journals, magazines and a number of other materials that is connected to print
media in Uganda. Electronic media comprises television and radio that is more popular among the younger generations of this African country.
Radio broadcast in Uganda is in the hands of Radio Uganda. Television is under Uganda Television Service. Both of these are parts of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in Uganda. The radio channels broadcast in 22 languages while the Television broadcasts in English, Swahili and Luganda.
The New Vision, a daily in Uganda has a circulation of around 40,000. Two other major newspapers in Kampala are The Monitor and Munno.
Ugandan Media has undergone a radical change over the years from the period of its colonization to the present day. The electronic media has developed largely and today is the most popular and most wanted among the people of Uganda.
