The University of Monaco formerly known as the University of Southern Europe is an autonomous business school situated at Monte Carlo in the Principality of Monaco.
Monaco International University, founded in 1986 boasts of a motley group of international students enrolled under various graduate and undergraduate business programs. The faculty comprises of teachers from 15 nationalities and the students hailing from over 25 countries. Some of the teachers being working executives help the students to receive a practical view of the management arena.
The university has undergone a certain amount of alteration regarding the faculties, infrastructure and has bagged a rank among the 100 best business schools around the world. The University has a rich and erudite faculty including 8 part time, 19 full time and 6 visiting faculty members.
IUM makes an effort to equip the students with a sound knowledge about the pros and cons of business administration. Therefore a functional and an analytical approach is maintained to make the MBA courses more comprehensible including lecture teachings, case studies.
This business school was established to bring into the region of Southern France a highly stratified management education which mingles pragmatism of America and the inclemency of Europe. The courses are mostly taught in English but the students are also encouraged to learn other languages.

The assessment system follows the semester model. Course duration is 18 month and commences from mid September. The University offers both full time and part time courses to its students.
Admissions
For general entry an applicant should be a diploma holder from a secondary school for the undergraduate program, a 4 year degree holder from a university for the graduation level, good score in TOEFL, IELTS, essays, reference letters, work experience, and the ability to contribute in the progress of the University.
Accommodation
No on campus accommodations are available for students. They might reside in apartments near to the institute or may also be placed with French families residing nearby.
