Beside the church, there is also the Skive museum, which is a rare storehouse of amber paintings and mementos all historically significant in some way or the other. The other very attractive sight of Skive is the Krabbesholm Manor that occupies a place in some wood ever since the 16 th century and after 1907 this manor has been transformed into the very prestigious College of Adult Education. The college outshines other educational institutions in the place solely on the basis of its Rococo style architecture on the ceilings and walls.
Skive as a city has gained considerable recognition and fame due to the Monsted Limestone Caves which is a nature preservation site and serves the commercial purpose also of being the storehouse where cheese is aged and then exported to other European markets like the one in Germany. This trait of the cheese that is aged here has also given this cheese the name of cavecheese. The skive Historical and Art museums provide additional tourist attractiveness to the place.
