The civil and state Swedish flag has been adopted officially on June 22 in the year of 1906. The horizontal dimension of the Swedish flag is 5:2:9 whereas the vertical proportionate dimension is 4:2:4. the officially established color for the yellow shade is NCS 0580-Y10R whereas NCS 4055-R95B for the blue shade. These denominations are established through the Natural Color System. The design of the Swedish pennant needs no regulation from the Swedish law. But it is recommended by the Swedish law that the color scheme of the Swedish pennant should abide by that of the Swedish flag.
