Moldova flag reflects the glory of the country of Moldova. Moldova flag is a vertical tricolor flag. The main colors present in the national flag of Moldova are blue, yellow and red and the coat of arms of Moldova is present at the center. The coat of arms consists of a Roman golden eagle sketched with black color and the color of the beak of the eagle is red. The claws of the bird have a yellow cross. The right claw holds a green olive branch and in the left claw there is a yellow wand. On the bosom of the eagle there is a screen that is horizontally divided with red over blue colors and bearing a head of an ox, star, rose in crescent shaped in yellow color with black border. The design of the flag of Moldova was adopted from the flag design of Romania. The flag of Moldova was adopted officially on 27th April, 1990 and became effective on 3rd November, 1990. The ratio of the flag in Moldova is 1:2. The front portion and reverse portion of the flag at Moldova are different. The Moldavian flag is made of the cloth of chromatics.
Apart from the national flag of Moldova, there is also a Moldavian National Army Flag. This flag of the military of Moldova reflects the military honor of the soldiers of Moldova. This flag is divided in the middle which reflects the old Moldavian military flags. The Red Cross at the middle prompts Saint George who was the guardian of the army of Moldova in the medieval period.
