The Bill of Rights of the Federated States of Micronesia opposes the concept of a state religion in Micronesia. Thus there is no particular state religion in Micronesia. The Constitution of Micronesia provides complete freedom to the people to practice any religion of their choice.
Missionaries of all religions are allowed to spread their religious beliefs in Micronesia. Missionary activities carried out by the different churches are the chief religious influences in Micronesia. 3% of the total population of Micronesia either follow other religions or do not adhere to any religious faith.
