Founded during the 13th century, the Jihlava city is one of the greatest among the ancient Czech Republic Cities. A visit to the Jihlava city will reignite the olden and golden memories in one’s mind.

The old buildings and monuments presenting the ancient architectural brilliance are conspicuous with their presence in downtown Jihlava.

The year 1982 was important for Jihlava city as the heart of the city with historical buildings was declared as heritage property by the Municipality. The Municipality undertook to preserve those buildings, monuments and historical artworks.

The ancient city of Jihlava has today developed into a thriving city with immense industrial, commercial, administrative and cultural significance. The city is located in the north western part of South Moravia of the Czech Republic. The city is an important trade route with accessibility from different parts of the country.
