The South Bohemian Ceske Budejovice city is one of the picturesque Czech Republic Cities. Also known as Budweis, the city is well known for its magnificent buildings built during the European Renaissance.
It is also famous for Budvar Beer - the local drink.

Ceske Budejovice city is the largest among the South Bohemian cities and considered as the political capital of South Bohemia. It is said that the Ceske Budejovice city in Czech Republic was founded by King Hizro or King Ottokar II of Bohemia.
