The Norfolk Island Flag can be described as having three bands of green, white and green, respectively.
The three bands are arranged vertically on the flag. The widths of three bands on the Norfolk Island Flag are arranged in the ratio of 7:9:7. The middle white band is slightly wider than the other two green bands.

In the center of the white band there is the motif of the Norfolk Island Pine Tree. The green pine tree is native to the Norfolk Island.
