Manual Of Photogrammetry: The Author

As earlier mentioned the book Manual of Photogrammetry is written by the American Society of Photogrammetry. The American Society of Photogrammetry was founded in 1934. The main focus behind its establishment is to develop the mapping science and promote the application of photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Geographical Information System (GIS) and other related technologies. Manual of Photogrammetry is one of the important publications of the society.

Manual of Photogrammetry: The book

The first edition of Manual of Photogrammetry was published in 1940s. The latest edition is the fifth edition, which was published in the beginning of 21st century. The recent edition of the book contains information about the sensors, various photogrammetric techniques and products. Thus this book presents a complete evolutionary journey of the photogrammetric science from 1940’s to present time.
