The Sahelian region has a transitional kind of climate where the desert of kind vegetation is found in the northern regions of Saheli. The central portion experiences more rainy seasons than anywhere else in the region of Saheli. The region of Soudania is very humid and an average rainfall of about 750 to 1,250 millimeters occurs there.
