Eagle Beach is one of the top beaches in the Caribbean

Eagle Beach is one of the top beaches in the Caribbean, with powdery white sands and clear blue waters. Eagle Beach, along with several other popular beaches on Aruba, like Palm Beach, are a great destination for a relaxing beach getaway. Several resorts right along the coast offer luxurious accommodation, and often all-inclusive stays. It is one of the beaches that allows nudity in Aruba.

Enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving at Eagle Beach, especially at the Pedernales Shipwreck off the coast. Featuring the widest beach in Aruba, Eagle Beach with its sparkling Caribbean sea, tourist huts, ample parking, shaded picnic areas, and motorized water sports is loved by the tourists.

Every year for a few months the beach is studded with red and white markers to protect turtle nests. The turtles emerge from their eggs mostly around sunset and at night. Nests of Loggerhead, Hawksbill, Leatherback and, Green species of sea turtle are found in Aruba. Each nest has around 80 eggs. Watching the new born turtles finding their way to the ocean is a pleasing sight.

Eagle Beach also houses two of the unique fotifoti trees that point towards the Caribbean.These most photographed trees also serve as a backdrop for wedding photography.

Aruba beach tennis fanatics play tennis on the beach during weekends. Tourists are welcome to join them.

Part of the Lesser Antilles, in the Caribbean Sea, Aruba is an island located not far from Colombia and Venezuela.
