Homyel Province



Homyel Province is one of the six provinces of Belarus. This province is also known by the names Homel, Homyel, and Gomel. The administrative center of Homyel Province of Belarus is in the city of Homyel. This province of Belarus is situated in the southeastern region of Belarus. It borders Russia and Ukraine. Homel and Mazyr are the largest cities in Homyel Province in Belarus. Homel also houses a well-known national park named Pripyatsky National Park.

The city of Homel has got a population of approximately 0.5 million. It is considered to be the 2nd largest city in Belarus. Major sightseeing spots include the park as well as the Paskevich Palace. Quite a large number of electronic buses ply the road of Homel. Tourists visit this province in large numbers from many parts of the world.
