Wales Flag

The Welsh flag has a proportion of 2:3. The figure of the dragon is not standardized and variations exist.

The dragon on the national flag of Wales is said to be of Roman origin or signifying ancient fighters.

The symbol of red dragon is an integral part of Welsh culture and tradition from time immemorial so when the official flag of Wales was adopted on 1959, this symbol was incorporated.
