Ad Dawhah province



Ad Dawhah is a province in Qatar where Doha is located. Doha is the capital of Qatar. In the eastern side of Ad Dawhah the Persian Gulf is positioned. The municipality or the province of Ad Dawhah has three other provinces as its neighbors. It has Al Wakrah in the southern side, Ar-Rayyan in the west, and Umm Salal in the northern side.

The population of Ad Dawhah in the year 2004 was recorded to be around 339,847 people. The density is 2574 square kilometers. The latitudinal dimension of Ad Dawhah is 25 degrees 17 minutes 12North and the longitudinal dimension is 51 degrees 31 minutes 60East.

The near by airports of Ad Dawhah are Doha Intl, Shaikh Isa, Baharain Intl. Doha is Qatar’s largest city. It is also the abode of the education city and research, education all are encouraged very much in the province f Ad Dawhah. Doha situated in the province of Ad Dawhah was founded in the year 1850. The economy of Qatar depends much on the province of Ad Dawhah as it owns the city of Doha. The majority of the oil and natural gas is derived from the region of Doha. Doha is also the economical center of Qatar.
