Chilean People



The Chilean People comprises a racial mixture of American Indians and Europeans. Almost 50% of the population is below 25 years of age and 72 percent is below 40 years. The people of Chile are culturally rich and very hospitable in nature.

Since the population of Chile is of young age, they are active at outdoor sports and highly innovative. Their local cuisine is mouth watering and made sumptuous with simple ingredients. The people of Chile are simple and friendly. Chilean people are highly professional, yet homely and closely associated to their respective families.

Basically the Chilean people are very affable and broad-minded in nature. They have a special affection for the foreigners. They are very helpful in nature and are always keen to lend a helping hand to the foreign nationals. It’s very easy to get acquainted with them. The tourists enjoy listening to their folklores and traditional tales during their leisure time.

The Chilean families are small with a maximum of two children, which implies that they carry a good sense of family planning. The Chile people are a blend of Spanish and aborigines in some specific regions. Chile was last occupied by the Spaniards in America. In the later decades there were many immigrants in Chile. The Europeans comprised a large section of the society after the Second World War. The religion practiced by the Chilean People is Roman Catholic.
