The dominant church is that of the Methodist whereas the Anglicans, Catholics have also come up with new churches. Apart from Christianity, Hinduism has a strong influence on the Fiji Religion.

Fijians are highly religious. Visit any traditional Fijian village and get infused by Fiji Culture. Any common day in the village begins in a religious manner. As the sunrises there is a beating of luli drum the sound of which is supposed to awaken the Gods. The village churches are quite impressive architectural designs based on the wooden works. The matted floor gives the interior an ethnic touch.
