Cement is a fine, soft, powdery-type substance made from a mixture of elements that are found in natural materials such as limestone, clay, and sand. When mixed with water, cement forms concrete (a hard, solid mass) by binding sand and gravel.
Cement is made up of four essential elements: Calcium, Silicon, Aluminum and Iron. It is most used for construction purposes and in the production of mortar.
Cement is usually gray. However, white cement is also found but it is usually more expensive than gray cement.

As the data shows, China is the world’s largest producer of cement; it produces about 1800000 metric tonnes of cement annually. China has been producing more cement than any other country for the past 18 years.
With a production of 220000 metric tonnes of cement each year, India is at the second spot in the production of cement.
