Estonia travel is supported by the availability of airways, roadways and ferry services. Tallinn is the capital city of Estonia and is connected to numerous destinations by airways.

There are flights to London, Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, Stockholm, Moscow, Barcelona and other places. The airport of Tallinn is situated at a distance of three kilometers, from the southeast of the city center. A train connects Tallinn with Moscow every night. Bus is the most inexpensive mode of transport in Estonia. It links Tallinn with western and Scandinavian Europe. There are also ferry services in Estonia connecting it with Germany, Sweden and Finland.




For moving within Estonia, there are also domestic flights, which are a bit expensive. There are flights between Tallinn and Kuressaare. There are also boat services available on the Emajogi River and the Peipsi Lake. Local trains connect Tallinn with Tapa, Parnu, Tartu, Valga and Viljandi. Suburban electric trains also ply to Tallinn suburbs. There are good bus services in Estonia that provide a very comfortable journey.


Private taxis are another mode of transportation in Estonia. Travelers can also go for the option of hiring a car in Estonia for moving around. This is available at the airport. Thus Estonia travel is made easy by the different modes of communication available there.
