The republic state of Ecuador is located in the northwestern region of South America. The country has a huge population of almost 13,755,680 people. There are various ethnic groups living together in the country.

That is why so much diversity in the culture and also in the language can be seen in Ecuador. To talk about Ecuador language, the official language in Ecuador is Spanish. Most of the people in Ecuador speak Spanish.




However, there is another official language in Ecuador and that is Quichua. Quichua is also very popular language in Ecuador and it is widely spoken in various parts of the country. Quichua is in fact an Inca language. This is mainly popular among the Indian population in the Republic of Ecuador. Except these two languages many other languages are spoken in the country. There are almost ten other native languages in Ecuador. Amerindian is one of those native languages of Ecuador.


Besides the native languages, some foreign languages are also spoken widely in various parts of Ecuador. English is one such foreign Ecuador language.

Ecuador language also influences the music of the country. Various local native languages are used in the local music and in the folk music.
