Manly is a peninsula, bounded by the sea on three sides and comprising eighteen beaches that include Ocean Beach, Shelly Beach, Little Manly and Fairlight. The Manly Beach is the site of the largest, longest and best known festival in Australia – the Manly Jazz Festival. Volleyball and swimming competitions are held every now and then.
