Thailand Travel Tips
Get acquainted with Thai customs and traditions. Remove your footwear before you enter temples and Thai homes.
You may not be allowed to enter Buddhist temples dressed in skirts or shorts. Wear long loose clothes.
Haggling is a way of life in Thailand. Do remember to bargain while shopping in the open street markets.
Food served in street-side stalls or in the small shops on the sidewalk is usually safe. We recommend bottled water, though.
Tip generously if the service is good. A 10% - 15% tip is the norm in most restaurants.
