It is not just about maps at Mapsofworld.com

Yes, it has never been about just maps at Mapsofworld.com and it is essentially due to the fact that maps don’t exist in silos. There is art, science, history, geography, international affairs and everything else which link maps to our lives. Maps do exist on their own but they also act as a pictographic tool to quickly provide an overview of what is where. Some of you would find the infographic on Massachusetts very interesting. It was born about three years ago, but has a life of its own and was recently updated.

The Infographic on Massachusetts is an attempt in the direction of taking fluff out of researched information and making it crisp and functional for our users. At every stage we keep on documenting user behavior on our site and that user behavior is our whole time mentor. It guides us in factoring in user requirements and delivering comprehensive results.

One of the questions which keeps us thinking is, how much information is enough in a starter pack? We are very clear that we don’t wish to be experts on each and every subject. However, we do believe that we could be an expert on displaying information through infographics. In this particular infographic we covered eight sections and used three maps.
