Morning and late afternoon are the best times to get the best experience in the park. It remains a bit cooler at that time. Due to high winds or dangerous storm conditions, the park remains occasionally closed. Before visiting the place, check for any weather advisories or hazardous conditions on your visiting day with the visitor centre or your hotel.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Kalaupapa National Historical Park (Kalaupapa, HI)<\/h3>\n<p>Kalaupapa National Historical Park reminds the visitors about the history of the suffering of people, who were banished to the isolated Kalaupapa peninsula on the north shore of Molokai by King Kamehameha V. Over 8,000 people, mostly Hawaiians, have died since 1866 as they contracted Hansen&#8217;s disease (leprosy).
