Bush decided to free Kuwait<\/b> and sent almost 425,000 American troops to the place. they were again joined by several allied troops, and Kuwait was finally saved through long and protracted battle.<\/p>\n By the end of his tenure in 1993, Bush’s formidable international stature was dampened by widespread resentment back home. There was huge spending on the wars that went deficit from the economy. Violence also erupted in the inner cities of the country. However, his global reputation sustained him even through the worst of his times. Even after his Presidential tenure, he remained a popular figure.<\/p>\n In the later years of his life, he started suffering from a form of Parkinson’s disease, which resulted in his disability to walk.
