The famous Teleferico cable cars at Warairarepano National Park<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div>\n

Riding the Teleferico, the famous cable car that takes visitors to the crest of the Cerro El Avila mountain range to the Warairepano National Park, is a must do activity when you visit Venezuala. On the other side of the Cerro El Avila mountain is a scenic coastal area washed by the Caribbean Sea. You can visit both the national park and the coastal region. Mariperez-El Avila and Mariperez-Macuto are the two cables that connect to the peak of the mountain. Traveling in these cable cars is an exciting experience. Enjoy the 360-degree panoramic views of the region while sitting in the cable cars.<\/p>\n

The Warairarepano park, offers some of the coolest recreational options such as a disco, a beautiful ice rink, and the Humboldt Hotel. A good idea is to stay at the hotel and enjoy lavish dinners alternately at the three restaurants located in the romantic setting- La Cima, Cumbe, and The Cantata. If you love skating, then this mountain has a wonderful surprise for you. Venezuela\u2019s highest skating rink is located at an altitude of 2,100 meters above sea level on the Cerro El Avila. Even if you are a newbie, you can enjoy skating lessons here under professional supervision.<\/p>\n

You can also take jeeps to travel to the nearby town of Galipan for a close contact with the locals. The town has some nice restaurants.
\nThough the ride in Teleferico is an adventure by itself, many do not trust the suspended cables, and prefer to ride to the park via land. The 4X4 SUV is a good alternative for them.<\/p>\n

    How to reach Teleferico<\/h2>\n

    The Teleferico cableway is sited at the foot of the Avila mountain. It is located at a distance of about 27.2 km from the Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar International Airport of Maiquetia via the Autopista Caracas – La Guaira route.

    • On Mondays, the Teleferico is closed for maintenance.<\/li>\n
    • On Tuesdays, it operates from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.<\/li>\n
    • On Wednesdays to Fridays, the cable car operates from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.<\/li>\n
    • On Saturdays and Sundays, the cable car services are available from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
